Mrs. Mariela Silberberg

Art Teacher

My name is Mariela Silberberg, I am originally from Argentina, and I have always loved to paint and draw. As a child I did it as a hobby, whenever I could. At the time, if you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say: “An artist or a teacher”. Well, I became both! I earned two degrees from Argentina, one as a Painting Professor and another one as an Elementary School Teacher.

But life takes strange turns sometimes and I ended up moving to the United States in 2003. After living in New Mexico for 2 years, New York for 10 years, I am now located in Shaker Heights, Ohio where I live with my husband, three children and a sweet cat named Candy.

While living in Rochester (NY) I earned my Masters in Art Education from Nazareth College and also my certification to teach Spanish.

I am honored to become a part of All Saints of St. John Vianney community and I look forward to get to know your children through their art!
