Catherine Kukowski

Grade 6B

My name is Catherine Kukowski and I am so excited to be joining the team at All Saints School this year as the 5th and 6th grade Reading and 6th grade English teacher!

I began my own education at St. Mary of the Assumption followed by Lake Catholic High School. From the time I was in 4th grade I knew that I wanted to be a teacher, and in December of 2015 I graduated from Kent State University with my degree in Middle Childhood Education. I have been a substitute teacher in the Willoughby-Eastlake schools and taught Junior High Science for two years in Westlake.

I love to spend my time travelling with my husband. Some of my favorite places I’ve visited are Italy, the Dominican Republic, and Disney World. We hope to visit Australia and Ireland in the next several years. He and I also share a love of books, and have cultivated a small library that is scattered throughout our home. Our small menagerie of rescue pets keeps us busy with two dogs, two cats and recently we added a kitten that fell into our lives in June after I saw him abandoned in a parking lot.

Walt Disney said, “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” This year, I truly believe that teaching at All Saints is a dream come true!
