Mrs. Marie Porter

Hello, my name is Marie Porter. I have been teaching for about 27 years in total. I have both Catholic and public schools experience. I also have taught a variety of grade levels from Kindergarten through sixth grade mostly. I do have experience in technology and work with children with special needs as well. I have learned a lot over my years of teaching, but the most important to me is developing a child’s self worth to lead them to discovering their purpose. I also want them to be happy with their achievements and what they contribute to the world.

I was raised in a family of 13 children. My father was a teacher for 40 years on the high school level as well as the college level. My husband is in education as well. We have raised four girls of our own. Our oldest one just got married this summer. Three out of the four girls are in the medical field, and the youngest is still in college.
