Little Saints Preschool

4’s

Four Year Old Program

Our four year old program continues to introduce new concepts to children and support each of their developmental levels preparing them for kindergarten. We support their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, language and spiritual development through activities, individual instruction and open center play experiences. Children who stay for the full day program have opportunity to socialize at lunch and recess and participate in a rest time.  The afternoon focuses on individual kindergarten readiness skills. Children must be 4 years of age by September 30th of the school year of registration.

Pre-K’s

 Pre-K

Our PreKindergarten program is a 5-day, full day program (a morning only option is available) designed for young 5-year olds as a transition to kindergarten. Our program develops necessary kindergarten academic-readiness skills as well as important social-emotional skills.

Often, this extra year offers the “gift of time” and will bring increased success for young children as they progress through the upper grades. With a focus on literacy, math, self-regulation and social skills, students will benefit from whole and small group instruction, independent work centers and “hands-on” learning.

PreK students also participate in Music, Art, Library, Computer and Physical Education classes taught by our faculty specialists. PreK students may participate in our school’s hot lunch program, and also receive daily recess and a daily rest time.

Students must have reached their 5th birthday by December 31st of the school year for which they are registered.*

*Exceptions to this age requirement are made on a case-by-case basis. A child who does not meet this age requirement must  have attended at least one year in a preschool program and provide a letter of recommendation from the former preschool teacher indicating readiness for a 5-day program.
