Student Clubs and Activities

We encourage our students to participate in activities outside of the classroom to broaden their horizons and get them involved in the community.

During the pandemic, Clubs and other activities could not be held in order to comply with CDC Guidelines.  We plan to return to clubs and activities in the 2022-2023 school year and create some new activities.

Opportunities we currently plan to make available during the 2022-2023 school year are listed below.

Club What our Students Do in the Club
Band (Grades 4-8) Band is offered through The Music Alliance.
Additional information will be provided to parents as school begins.
Choir Students may join the choir, which provides music during the school liturgies.
CYO Athletics CYO Athletics is offered through St. John Vianney.  CYO inspires young people to know God, to love God, and to serve God through athletics
Drama Club (Grades 6,7,8) The Drama Club teaches students speech and presentation skills and, as a culminating project, presents a play each year.
Go Green Club (Grade 3-5) This Club helps the school, and reminds others, on ways we can better serve nature and our earthly home.
Jr. Achievement Programs (K-8) Junior Achievement brings volunteers from the community into the classroom to provide programs on a variety of topics that are intended to inspire students to understand the opportunities provided by education.
Scouts Scouting is offered through St. John Vianney. Scouting empowers young people to live as disciples of Jesus in our world today, draws them to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community, and fosters the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.
Spelling Bee (Jr. High) Can you spell …?
Yearbook Each year the school produces a year book with the help of the students.

Other clubs and activities will be provided depending on the circumstances and interests of the students.

An activity is generally not started without the commitment of at least 10 students and a qualified person to oversee the activity.
